Officials say the investigation covers twenty-five officers based at the city's international airport and central railway station. At least three have been arrested and eight suspended. The head of the border police, Joerg-Dietrich Hasslinger, said it was the largest such scandal he'd heard of involving his force. Investigators allege that the young officers involved used ecstacy, LSD and hashish themselves as well as supplying the drugs to others.
