1. maximise and minimise a window from the command prompt

It's possible to shutdown the machine from the command prompt using the
following syntax, but that's not
quite the same thing:

RUNDLL32 USER.EXE,ExitWindows

This one logs off the current user:

RUNDLL32 USER32.DLL,ExitWindowsEx
