subject: hot to give a domain user local admin access

...ok, well I'm sure you folks with MCSEs will have a giggle at this,
but it took me a good deal of time to track down a solution, so I'll
share it ...

A customer with an NT4 server has acquired XP-based workstations.
Connecting them to the domain wasn't so hard - the problem arose when
they needed permanent administrative access on their workstations.

Anyway, to cut a long story short - to give an XP user admin access
over their machine, while still restricting them to their normal
access on the server, add their domain account to the local
administrators group.

This fix is from here:

You need to be logged in as local admin to do this.
