I have attempted, twice, to post an article concerning Qualcomm and their role in the "New Iraq".

Both times, the message has disappeared without bouncing or being posted to the list.

Perhaps it's because it notes that the non-standard CDMA fones are CALEA-compliant, which means they double
as tracking (and possibly audio/video recording) devices for the FBI.

I also posted another article about electronic voting machines - that didn't show
up either. Written by Rebecca Murcuri of the Association of Computing Machinery,
the article questions whether the use of such machines is appropriate, given their
lack of auditability and transparency, and is filled with links to more

I think it's pretty obvious that those in charge have a vested interested in
implementing the machines. They make all future elections much easier to win.
