ANNOUNCING LIGHT READING UNIVERSITY
Light Reading's new training service allows service providers and their employees to learn about next-
generation telecommunications technology over the Internet
Light Reading is happy to announce that we've recently opened the virtual doors to Light Reading
University (LRU), our new training service.
LRU provides professionals working in or around the telecommunications industry with a detailed education
in next-generation networking technology from the people best qualified to deliver it: the technologists who
developed it and implemented it in the real world. As a service provider employee, you can think of our
courses as your independent advisory service. This course will keep you abreast of this ever-changing
market and give you valuable insight into which technologies are viable and why - and, more importantly,
which are not.
LRU takes advantage of the two attributes that have made Light Reading itself such a success. First, it's
online, which means students with Internet access can participate in LRU courses from any location in
the world. Second, it's based on premium quality content, provided by world-renowned experts.
To ensure students are entirely confident that our courses will meet their expectations before they sign up,
the first module in each course is free!
Each course lasts around eight hours in total, but it is broken into 20-minute modules, which students can
take at their own pace. LRU also allows students to access a message board (
http://www.lightreading.com/lru/boards/messages.asp?thread_id=27969 ), on which they can discuss
aspects of the course with each other and ask questions of the course tutors.
We thought that this promotional opportunity might be of interest to you.
